Ronald Blankenship

Ron currently services as the Minnie Hamilton’s Board President of a board that he has been a member of since November 2007. A distinguished former superintendent for the Calhoun County Board of Education and former Mayor of the city of Grantsville, Ron has spent a career focused on improving the lives and well-being of the residents of rural north central West Virginia.

Throughout his tenure in education, he championed initiatives to enhance student learning and community engagement, leaving a lasting impact on the educational landscape of the school systems he represented. Blankenship’s dual commitment to both education and local government exemplifies his deep-rooted dedication to public service, one that he continues to demonstrate with his time as part of the Minnie Hamilton Health System board.
