We are excited to announce that Corrie Lay Grogg will be joining the Minnie Hamilton Health System team and begin seeing women in December at the Glenville office. Corrie specializes in women’s healthcare including well-woman exams, all types of contraception including long acting methods like IUDs and arm implants, all types of female problems such as breast or pelvic, managing menopausal symptoms, pre-conception counseling, and many more. 

Corrie is a native of Gilmer County and graduated from Gilmer County High School in 2003. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Glenville State College/West Virginia University Joint Nursing Program in 2007. For the next 7 years she worked as a labor & delivery Registered Nurse. Three of those years were spent as a travel nurse in several states and hospitals. In 2013 she graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Master’s of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner in Women’s Health. Since then she has worked in and around Canton, Ohio. 

She has been married to Jeramey Grogg, also native to Gilmer County, for 15 years. They have 4 boys; Lexington age 10, Beckett age 4, and 1 year old twins Asa and Jasper (JP). 

She is currently working towards her Post-Master’s Certificate in Family Practice to be completed in Spring 2020. At that time she will be seeing all ages of men, women, and children.
